First aid training for medical staff conducted

Kakching, March 09 2024:
Altogether 26 doctors, nurses and other health staff were given 'Certified First Aid Training' at the auditorium of Jivan Hospital, Kakching on Saturday.
A team of trained resource persons from St John Ambulance (India), Manipur state centre led by its president Dr L Tomcha Khuman provided training to the participants.
The training was aimed at imparting scientifically proven skills of first aid and basic life saving techniques to the participants.
The training programme will continue till March 10 and it is is 119th Batch conducted by St John Ambulance (India), Manipur state centre.
At the end of the training, all the participants will be empowered to respond in times of emergency health situations, accidents and other conditions at home, work places, roads, communities, etc.
