Meitei Ireicha Kan-ba Athouba Salai 7 (MIKAS 7) has cautioned to launching intense agitations if government authorities fail to provide whereabouts of missing students namely Hijam Luwangbi and Phijam Hemanjit within August 26 .
In a release, MIKAS 7 denounced inability of the government to locate whereabouts of the two who are missing since July 6 .
According to cyber-crime report, the location of the missing students was traced to Lam-dan while tracking their phone.
However, Manipur police feebly conceded that they could not venture into the area owing of the restive situation.
It showed that law of the state government does not cover hill areas, it said.
Moreover, silence of student bodies over the missing case has disheartened the parents, the release pointed out, while recalling that a peaceful rally was taken out on August 1 and memorandum submitted to the chief minister and the Governor.
Yet, the authorities failed to give any reply, it contended, while urging students' bodies to support the people's movement in consideration of the plight of the parents.
