30th General Conference of Naga Student Federation from August 24

The 30th General Conference of Naga Student Federation will be held from August 24 - 26 at Ukhrul.
Nagaland MLA Achumbemo Kikon will attend as the special guest and will officially inaugurate the conference while the incumbent NSF President Kegwayhun Tep will hoist the conference flag in the presence of all federating unit presidents of NSF.
Speaking to this correspondent, TKS President Ramreichan Keishing highlighted the objectives of hosting the conference which is aimed at strengthening the inter-Nagas fraternal relation of all Nagas residing in different places across the globe.
He also mentioned that two Naga MLAs from Nagaland namely Achumbemo and Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome will attend as guests of honour in the inaugural function.
Outer MP of Manipur Dr Lorho S Pfoze will be attending the valedictory function as a special guest, he added.
According to him, a host of Naga's intellectuals, student leaders from across the border including Myanmar will share a common platform during the conference.
The conference will witness a myriad of Naga traditional items and it will be followed by NSF general election for the tenure 2023- 2025 at Ukhrul.
In view of the above conference, the TKS president on behalf of the Naga's populace urged all to refrain from imposing bandh and blockade on the National Highway for ensuring peaceful conduct of the conference.
He also made a clarion call to all concerned taking up construction work on NH 102A Tadubi to Ukhrul and NH-202 Imphal to Ukhrul to revamp these roads to avert travelling inconvenience for those delegates coming from far-off places.
