Long March reaches Wangjing

Imphal, December 27 2023:
Manipur Youth League's "Long March" reached Wangjing today.
The march on the 8th day today started from Kakching.
From Kakching, the marchers proceeded towards Langathel.
Local residents came out on the road and received the marchers.
At Langathel, the youths held a public meeting.
International Peace and Social Advancement (IPSA) president Tourangbam Birjit, Sanaleibak's Chief Editor Hemantakumar Ningomba and United Committee Manipur (UCM) president Joychandra Konthoujam attended and spoke in the meeting.
Later, the "Long March" reached Wangjing, where a similar public meeting was held with the locals.
IRE Group of Institutions Principal Narengbam Rajivkumar, federation of Haomee president Sapamcha Jadumani and Iramdam Kanba Apunba Lup (IKAL) secretary general Wahengbam Luwang Leima attended the meeting.
The marchers will spend the night at Wangjing.
Notably, MAYOL's march kicked off from Kangla on December 20 .
The march will culminate on January 9 next year at Gambhir Singh's memorial site at Langthabal Kunja.
