Ruling ministers, MLAs to meet central leaders

After deliberating on the prevailing restive situation in the state since June 8 at the cham-ber of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, ministers and MLAs of the ruling government have decided to go to Delhi and urged the centre to solve the crisis as soon as possible.
According to a source, the meeting continued at the office chamber of Speaker Th Satyabrata on Saturday and was attended by two ruling ministers and 16 MLAs.
The gathering agreed to go to Delhi and meet the PM and other central leaders to help re-solve the violence which has been raging in the state since May 3.Another resolution was adopted to urge the centre to take strict action against the Kuki militants violating the ground rules of Suspension of Operation (So0) and extend immediate relief to those displaced by the violence including resettlement measures.
The source further informed that the resolutions adopted during the meeting were con-veyed to the CM, who along with other MLAs will be leaving for Delhi to urge the centre as soon as possible.
