MLAs, BP condemn bomb attack

Imphal, June 10 2023:
Twenty two mem-bers of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly con-demned the bomb attack at the residence of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa MLA S Kebi on June 8 .
A release signed by the 22 MLAs including ministers and speaker namely Th Sa-tyabrata Singh, Th Biswajit Singh, Y Khemchand Singh, L Susindro, S Rajen, Kh Joy-kisan, Th Arunkumar, P Brojen Singh, M Rameshwar Singh, T Robindro Singh, E Nalini Devi, Nishikant Sapam, Th Basanta Singh, Kongkham Robindro Singh, H Dingo Singh, Sapam Kun-jakeshwor Singh, L Ramesh-wor Meitei, K Govindas, Dr Y Radheshyam Singh, Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh and Th Shanti Singh also urged authorities concerned to investigate and book the culprits at the earliest.
In a release by its general secretary L Deben, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh vehemently con-demned the bomb attack at the residence of MLA Kebi, who is also Manipur State Women's Develop-ment Corporation Limited chairperson by unknown miscreants.
Stating that the party takes the incident seriously, Deben observed that as the MLA's house is located in a densely populated area the attack could have caused loss of precious lives and properties and appealed to all concerned to maintain peace and harmony.
