Meetei and Tangkhul communities neither have another place of origin other than Manipur nor to retreat in times of danger.

On the other hand, the Kukis have their origin in Myanmar, he said Jadumani said that the Federation is an apex body of 25 indigenous communi-ties, which have seven clans (Yek Salai).
The organisation has been tracing the roots of the indigenous communities in both hills and valley since its inception in 2018, he said.

They would definitely want justice.
The conflict will only end when justice is served, he said.
