Aid extended, inmates trained

Imphal, July 12 2023:
Fraternity Welfare Association formed by 80 pensioners donated a sum of Rs 30,000 to relief camp set up at Konthou-jam Makha Khabam High School while one Nambam Rajendra Singh of Wangkhei Tokpam Leikai donated Rs 20,000 and Xingu Technologies Pvt Ltd MD Rakeshor Ningthoujam Rs 10,000 to Raj Medicity.
Meanwhile, Keirao Women Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited under Manipur State Livelihoods Mission organised one day detergent making training for inmates staying in the relief camp at Urup OBC Girls Hostel.
The Society also assured of initiating training programme on reeling of silk to women inmates of relief-camps.
On the other-hand, People's Resource Development Association (PRDA) along with Action Aid Association provided essential items to relief camp set up at Takmu Regional Water Sports Complex, Laisoi village under Thanga AC and conducted free medical camp.
Ipanat Ipunat Ekallasi Kangleipak provided essential items including edibles along with monetary aid to relief camp set up at UFO Middle South Headquarter Mayang Imphal Charoipung, while Likma-bam Bino Devi Foundation Wangjing Hodamba Heitup pokpi distributed relief items to three relief camps at Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex, Lamding Higher Secondary School and Wabagai Higher Secondary School sheltering the displaced people affected by the ethnic clashes.
