Amit Shah ruled out SA in Manipur, says MLA Noorul

Union home minister Amit Shah has reportedly reassured that there will be no separate administration in Manipur.
Amit Shah gave the assurance to a delegation of National People's Party (NPP) that called on him at New Delhi on Friday.
Kshetrigao MLA Noorul Hassan, who was part of the NPP delegation, told Meetei and Meetei Pangal protestors at top Khongnangmakhong on Saturday that a delegation of the NPP led by Lok Sabha MP Agatha K Sangma, also comprising Kakching MLA M Rameshwar met Amit Shah on Friday at New Delhi and discussed about prevailing situation of Manipur.
The discussion mainly dwelt on separate administration, NRC, illegal immigration, suffering of displaced people and the prevailing law & order situation in Manipur.
When the demand made by Kuki MLAs for separate administration was discussed, Amit Shah told the NPP delegation that there will be no separate administration in Manipur as long as the state remains in India and that the government of India has firm commitment not to compromise territorial integrity of Manipur, Noorul Hassan said.
Informing the protestors in detail about NPP delegation's meeting with Amit Shah, Noorul Hassan said Amit Shah appealed people of Manipur through the NPP team not to panic and both state and Central government are working hard to bring back peace and normalcy in Manipur.
Amit Shah also appealed for a collective efforts to ensure that peace and normalcy prevail in Manipur, he added.
While asserting that all the indigenous people of Manipur need to work with unity to bring peace and normalcy in Manipur, Noorul Hassan said 10 Naga MLAs and 40 Meetei and Meetei Pangal MLAs are still working together though 10 Kuki MLAs have embarked on a different direction.
The state cabinet has decided to convene state assembly session from August 21 and NPP believes that the upcoming session will take resolution in the interest of the people, Noorul Hassan added.
