Many continue to extend relief items to the people who have been displaced by the recent outburst of ethnic conflicts in the State.
Diocesan Social Services Society (DSSS) Manipur today distributed relief items at the shelter camp opened in Biramangol College, Sawombung, Imphal East.
About 36 families are currently taking refuge at the camp opened in Biramangol College.
Staff of Lanchenba Pharmacy, Athokpam Khunou, Thoubal district also distributed medicines and consumable items to the villagers of Singda Kadangband Part-I, Imphal West on Friday.
Moreover, South Asian Fraternity, New Delhi and Manipur Unit also distributed ration materials to the displaced people in three relief camps set up at Manipur College, Phayeng and Lamboi Khongnangkhong.

In a release, the fraternity shared the grief & pain of the victims of the present conflict and urged the authorities concerned to bring back normalcy in the State.
In continuation of the humanitarian aid extended to the people affected by the present conflict, Sin Flower Club today provided essential items to the volunteers at Phayeng Kharang, Kadangband and Singda.
Meanwhile, to help the people affected by the ongoing conflict, Langthabal AC MLA Karam Shayam today handed over monetary aid to the Peace Committee, Langthabal AC during a simple function held at his residence in Chajing Mairenkhong.
It may be mentioned that the monetary aid was provided with funds from generous contributions made by supporters & sympathizers of the MLA.
At the event, Karam Shyam shared that a total of Rs 3,43,850 was contributed by many generous individuals from his constituency.
He continued that the amount was handed over to the Langthabal AC Peace Committee to purchase relief materials for the people taking shelter at various relief camps.
