Imphal, April 27 2023: Organised under the theme "Yes to Life No to Drugs" the 6th AMFIMPA Cup kicked off at Kyamgei KYCC ground with an exhibition match between Film Forum Manipur and AMFIMPA, on Thursday.

The football tournament is being organised by All Manipur Film Makers and Producers' Association (AMFIMPA).

The inaugural function of the 9 A-side competition participated by nine guilds and associations was held with AMFIMPA president Rk Chandrakumar, Wangkhei MLA Thangjam Arunkumar, Republican Party of India national secretary Maheshwar Thounaojam, Film Forum Manipur chairman Laimayum Surjakumar Sharma and KYPC president N Kishan as presidium members.

In the opening match, Cine Directors Guild defeated Cine Actors Guild Manipur 2-1.All Manipur Cinematographers' Association (AMCA) overcame All Manipur Matam Isei Kanglup (AMMIK) by a solitary goal in the second match.
