MAYOL reaffirms Langthabal Declaration

Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) has reiterated its stand to translate into action the Langthabal Declaration, which was adopted during the People's Assembly held at Manipur University campus on January 9, on the last day of its long march for 'National Regeneration'.
Addressing newspersons at Manipur Press Club, here, on Thursday, convenor Asem Prince said that MAYOL will put every effort to translate into action the resolutions adopted as part of Langthabal Declaration, and appealed to local clubs, organisations, CSOs, Meira Paibi Lups, student bodies and public to lend support.
He also said that MAYOL is open to suggestions from the public for a better future of Manipur and its territorial and emotional integrity.
The convenor recalled that during the 21-day long march, MAYOL initiated 40 major public meetings and numerous street corner meetings.
Conveying gratitude to all CSOs, Meira Paibi Lups, local clubs and organisations, public and media as well as intellectuals and people in different professions, police, transport associations and sound services for their support, he acknowledged feedbacks and suggestions from different sections of the society and pledged to uphold the trust people reposed
on the organisation.
