Ngambarel's all-round heroics steer PTRC to massive win, SHADOW thumped SDC

PTRC and SHADOW beat their respective opponents with relative ease in the MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament on Friday.
Ngambarel Naoshekpam's stunning all -round display helped PTRC pummel MODEL by 325 runs at PCC Ground, Mayaikoibi.
Asked to bat, PTRC set a mammoth 371/4 in their 30 overs.
PTRC's total revolved around Ngambarel Naoshekpam who stole the show with a masterful unbeaten 206 off 95 balls, coupled with contributions from Benson Yumnam (39), Laitonjam Jackson (28), Henba Paonam (26 not) and Priyojit Thongam (12) .
After his remarkable batting performance, Ngambarel was unstoppable with the ball as well.
He almost singlehand-edly wiped out SDC batting order by claiming a whopping eight wickets.
PTRC took just 11.1 overs to bundle out MODEL for a mere 46 courtesy of Ngambarel Naoshekpam's heroics while Benson Yumnam and Bush Sagolsem bagged one wicket each.
For MODEL, Chirom Malemnganba (ll) was the lone batter got into double digits during their run chase.
With his all-round heroics, Ngambarel Naoshekpam deservedly walked away with the man of the match trophy.
SHADOW, meanwhile, outclassed SDC (Laipham Khu-, nou) by eight wickets.
The winning side bowled out SDC in 20 overs for 76 as Sagatpam Telheiba turned out to be the chief destroyer for SHADOW, snapping five wickets.
On the other hand, his teammates Pebam Leishemba Mangang, Sagatpam Kanchen-ba and Chinglensana Haobam took one wicket apiece.
SHADOW then needed just 9.1 over to complete the target for an emphatic eight - wicket success.
The team lost two wickets in the process.
Sagarpam Lanchenba (42), Tomthinnganba Rajkumar (10 not out) and Kh Devis (1) were the run-getters in their comfortable run chase.
Sagatpam Telheiba earned the man of the match title for his five wickets.
