I-League NEROCA FC eyeing top spot

With just three games left to be played, local favourites, NEROCA FC are looking for another win against Goa based, Churchill Brothers tomorrow in their 16th league match and eighth home match of the ongoing I League 2017-18 .
In a press conference held today at Hotel Classic Grande, coaches of both teams expressed the importance of tomorrow's match.
NEROCA FC will be looking for full points to pressure leaders Minerva Punjab who lost 0-1 in the hands of Kolkata Giant, East Bengal today in their 14th league match.
Churchill Brothers cannot be taken lightly at the same time as they are struggling to come out of the relegation zone.
NEROCA FC's head coach Gift Raikhan expressed that his men are ready for tomorrow's clash and will certainly come out will flying colours.
"We are confident and will go all out to get three points.
We have no other option and can't afford to miss the best opportunity of the season either.," he said.
NEROCA's team captain, Varny K Kallon who was also present at the conference asserted that they will show their best in tomorrow's match and will surely overcome the Goan side to earn full points.
Head coach of Churchill Brothers, Alfred Fernandes stated that tomorrow's match will be a very tough match and they are well prepared to meet the home team.
"We suffered a 0-1 defeat in Goa but we are expecting a tough match tomorrow.
We have come fully prepared and hoping to get something out of this match ," he said.
He further said, "We always target three points.
We are here to avenge our home defeat" .
Speaking on the occasion Churchill Brother's captain, Dawda Ceesay said that his team are on a mission to earn full points and assured that tomorrow's match will not end like the previous match.
The match will begin tomorrow at 2 pm at Khuman Lampak.
