CCpur auto drivers stir

CCpur, February 13 2018:
Upset that an armed group had held captive two of their colleagues reportedly for ransom for four days, the All Churachandpur District Diesel Auto Owners Association has decided to stay off the road tomorrow.
The decision was taken to highlight the plight of the auto drivers and to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future, said a statement issued by the auto association.
It also called for a meeting the same day, and urged the public to bear any inconveniences they may encounter due to their agitation.
According to a statement one Lianpu, a driver along the Kaprang line and Haopu also a driver along Zolzam line were held in captivity between February 6-10 by KIA/KIO.
