XENOH Coporate Challenge Cup : Mixed bag on second day of tourney

It was mixed bag on the second day of the XENOH Coporate Challenge Cup as of the three matches played today, one ended in a narrow, one ended in a draw with the last match of the day witnessing the winner thrash their opponents.
In the morning session (Ground 2), AMRTDMWU edged past a fighting City Hospital by a first half solitary goal.
The two teams were evenly matched, but it was the killer instinct of Y Nabakumar of AMRTDMWU which carried the day when he scored an opportunistic goal in the 22nd minute of the match.
All efforts of City Hospital to find the equaliser and come back in the match were foiled by the tight defence line of AMRTDMWU.
In ground 1 of the evening session, it was an exciting match as LYC came back from behind twice to level the score against Dilu Films with the match ending in a 2-2 draw.
With both teams opting for an attacking game, Dilu Films went ahead as early as the 5th minute when a well placed John Milton found the net with a well taken shot.
Stung by the early goal, LYC went on the offensive and repeatedly raided the citadel of Dilu Films.
The attacking strategy paid off when Ng Sanathoi found the equaliser in the 7th minute to bring his team back into the match.
Dilu Films were at it again when it took the lead in the 25th minute with the goal coming from the boot of Polen.
Undeterred by the one goal deficit, LYC put more men on the attack and this finally paid off when Th Nanao disturbed the net of Dilu Films to restore parity and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
In the second match of the evening session, Langol View hammered Airport Authority by a scoreline of 4 goals to nil.
The floodgates opened in the 27th minute when Ashok found the net.
Not resting on the one goal lead, the players from Langol View repeatedly made inroads into the territory of Airport Authority and pumped in goals at will, the goals coming from the boot of Khaba in the 30th minute, Naobi in the 46th minute and Dupu in the 55th minute.
