4th Bikram Memorial Cricket meet : Wins for Khagemba-A, Young Cricketers

Khagemba-A (Kiyamgei) and Young Cricketers won their respective matches in the 4th Bikram Memorial State Level Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament being played at Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai today.
In the first match of the day, Khagemba-A won the toss and opted to bat.
Riding on a fine display from Bablu Khagemba managed to notch up a score of 175 runs in 14.4 overs taking advantage of a weak bowling line up of YSWA.
Set a huge target of 176 runs, the batsmen of YSWA did not really get into the groove of the match and folded up for 112 runs in 15 overs to lose by 63 runs.
In the second match of the Young Cricketers got the better of Tamoyai by 40 runs.
On winning the toss, Young Cricketers elected to bat first and managed to compile a total score of 119 for 9 in 15 overs.
Tamoyai were never really got into the run chase as they wilted under the sustained bowling of Young Cricketers to fold up for 79 runs in 13 overs.
John of Young Cricketers won the man of the match award for picking up 4 wickets in 3 overs.
