TRAU FC launch training kits ahead of I-League

Imphal, September 12 2021: Tiddim Road Athletic Union-Football Club (TRAU FC) on Sunday launched their 'practice/training kits' ahead of Hero I-League and IFA tournament.

The event was attended by general secretary, president, treasurer, advisors of TRAU and special guests Khedabrata and L Nandakumar, director Education(S), Manipur.

Helder Lobato Reibero was named as the captain for the 2021-22 season while S Netrajit Singh was picked as the vice-captain.

TRAU FC will begin their preparations at the TRAU Ground, commonly known as Tiddim Ground.

The players are a mix of youth and experience, with four players being promoted from the club's junior team to their state league squad.

The side are also hoping to strengthen their forward with Brazilian striker Thales Cruz and Uzbekistan striker Akobir who will join the camp as soon as their visas are granted.

In addition, the technical committee of the club has decided that Brazilain defender Helder Lobato and Nigerian winger Joseph Mayowa will stay at the club.

TRAU FC did fairly well in the I-League 2020-21 finishing a respectable third.
