Inferno ravages building with shops

Bishnupur, September 12 2021:
A fire incident completely destroyed a building that housed five shops at Moirangkhunou Teramakhong under Keibul police station on Sunday.
The fire which broke out around 2:45 am on Sunday totally gutted the building owned by one Moirangthem Dilip, son of late M Ni-lachand of Moirangkhunou Teramakhong.
The shops in the building included a grocery and electric items shop, a four-wheeler spare parts shop, a tent house named Sangai Decora and two grocery warehouses.
Speaking to the media, M Dilip informed that he received information about the inferno around 2:45 am.
Though it is still uncertain how the fire started, he is sure that it did not happened due to electric short-circuit as the power to his house is connected from the shops and it did not shut down.
He mentioned that the fire destroyed items in the shops and the building worth approximately Rs 1.50 crore.
As soon as the report of the fire was received, Moi-rang Fire Service Tender arrived at the spot managed to extinguish the fire before it spread to
nearby structures.
