District level symposium held

The 2nd district level symposium on the topic Youths Mental Unrest in Manipur organised by Manipuri Students ' Federation, Special branch, Jiribam was held today at Jiribam Higher Secondary School auditorium.
The programme was graced by B Sharat Sharma, JIMPAL advisor, Kh Rameshor Singh, MSF president, Special branch, Jiribam and Th Sarat Kumar Singh, president, Jiri News Network as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Giving the introductory speech, Kh Santosh said such programme would help boost confidence of youth/students.
The topic, he added would also promote awareness regarding the current unrest in the State among its youth.
Invitees N Nivarani Devi, president, WACAK, Jiribam, Kh Ibomcha Singh, Principal, RK Sanatombi Devi Vidyalaya, Jiribam, Kh Pushparani Devi, general secretary, AJMP and Th Somorendro Singh, assistant professor, Jiri College also spoke on the event.
The symposium was judged by S Arun Kumar Singh, Professor, Jiri college, Jiribam, Kh Indi Kumar Singh, lecturer, Jiribam Government Higher Secondary School and N Sanjiv Kumar Singh, lecturer, Jiribam Government Higher secondary School.
RK SDV, Jiribam's, Joyshree Heishnam, M banita Devi, and A Romen Singh secured first, second and third place respectively in the competition repectively while Th Rose Devi, Cambridge English School, Jiribam fetched the consolation prize.
Event president Kh rameshor, chief guest B Sharat and guest of honour Th Sarat also spoke on the event.
