CPI set to launch stir against Cong govt

Communist Party of India (CPI), Manipur State Unit is all set to launch a month long stir against the Congress government in Manipur during February 2013 .
Speaking to media persons in this regard today, Secretary of CPI state unit M Nara Singh said that in the wake of the rampant corruption and failure of various welfare projects under Congress ruled states, CPI state council has taken a decision on Monday to the effect of launching a month-long agitation in the state.
The main objective of the stir is to protest and highlight the corrupt activities of anti-people government in the state where bribery is even done inside the Assembly.
Nara said that in the wake of increasing unemployment, failure of PDS system, etc, CPI can't stay calm and watch the activities of anti-people government any more.
EX MLA, Ningthoujam Mangi Singh, informed that during the stir, CPI leaders would also visit some of the major irrigation and water reservoirs in the state.
