Good samaritan auto driver returns bag to owner

Kangpokpi, September 14 2020:
An auto driver, Ngulkhohao Chongloi (41) s/o Reverend K Chongloi, has won the hearts of many after story of his honest act surfaced on social media.
Speaking to media persons today, Ngulkhohao narrated that he was on his way home from Motbung on September 8, when he noticed a grey bag lying in the middle of the road along National Highway-2, between Saparmeina and Gamgiphai.
He added that after taking the bag home with him and calling several numbers he could find inside the bag, he was finally able to reach the owner.
The two met at Kangpokpi town the next day and the bag was returned.
H Nancy Kipgen, the owner of the bag, has rewarded the auto driver on his rare act of honesty with a memento at the office of Kangpokpi Youth Union in the presence of KYU leaders, Kangpokpi Auto-Owners' Association and Administrators of the Kanggui Post today.
She further thanked the administrators of The Kanggui Post Today for helping her and praised Ngulkhuhao claiming that such acts of honesty are rare in today's society.
The bag contained several valuables including a sum of Rs 18,000 and several important documents including ATM Card, PAN Card etc.
When Whatsapp group, The Kanggui Post broke the story on social media, many people lauded the auto driver for his honest act, flooding social media posts with love and appreciation.
