TICCI gets new office bearers

The Tribal Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TICCI) Manipur State Chapter, conducted its first business session on the September 12 at Senapati DHQs in the presence of Johny G Rengma National vice-chairman, TICCI and Director NSTFDC, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt of India.
Johny G Rengma and Tuccu Awomi, president TICCI Nagaland Chapter and his executive members along with prominent entrepreneurs from Nagaland were present at the business session, said a statement of TICCI, Manipur State Chapter.
During this meeting 14 persons were elected as office bearers and executive members TICCI, Manipur State Chapter.
As per the statement, N Benjamin Tao was elected as the president of the State Chapter while Th Thaisiiru was named as the vice-president.
Khonthuingampou Panmei, Ngatangmi Hungyo were on the other hand elected as general secretary and assistant secretary respectively while Newme Heg Ramtahungbe as elected as the treasurer.
Th Vipuni Ruhmai, Paul Longsaola, Gaingamliu Malangmei, Appolos T Panmei, Ningreingam Kashung, Khasem Bukli, Paogougin Chongloi, RS Wungmaso, Chingkhiudiat Ngaomei were also elected as the executive members, it said.
TICCI was established in 2015 with an aim to promote tribal business organizations and entrepreneurs in India.
Johny G Rengma on the occasion had emphasized that, TICCI is the largest "Tribal Business Organization" in India with aim and objective in taking up pro-active role in India's tribal development process, it said.
