IPSA celebrates 22nd foundation day

The International Peace and Social Advancement (IPSA) has celebrated its 22nd foundation day today with strict adherence to SOPs for COVID-19 .
Celebrating the day, IPSA distributed a packed lunch to COVID patients and medical staffers lodged/stationed at RIMS, JNIMS and COVID Care Centre, UNACCO.
Meanwhile, a press release issued by IPSA mentioned some of its important campaigns.
At the Traditional Manipuri Cultural Evening jointly arranged by Dhakabashi Manipuri and IPSA on November 6, 2019, Muhammad Abdul Mannan, Minister of Planning of Bangladesh assured to establish a Manipur Cultural Academy at Bangladesh, and paper works for the project have begun, said IPSA.
It also said that the assurance given by the DC of Moulvibazar, Bangladesh to repair/construct the road stretch between PWD road to Ima Leimaren Sidabi Sanapung, Humerjan during a programme organised by IPSA and Bangladesh Poirei Apokpa on November 9, 2019, has already been fulfilled.
The statement also maintained that the process for inducting Manipuri script from next academic session at a primary level has also begun, as promised by one Minister Janab Shahab Uddin at Manipur Festival organised by IPSA and UMP Bangladesh on March 6, 2020.IPSA also stated that they have organised a handloom mela at Agartala, celebrated cheiraoba at Puthiba Mandap on April 6, 2019 and placed a statue of Major Chongthamia at Naran Khamar, Agartala.
IPSA arranged medical camp at Moreh, Kwatha, Mao, Ukhrul, CCpur, Jiribam.
Other welfare programmes were also arranged by IPSA in different parts of the State.
