Condemnations pour in post torching of excavator at IIIT, Mayangkhang

In the aftermath of the alleged burning of an excavator (Poclain) by unidentified miscreants yesterday around 7 pm at IIIT, Mayangkhang, M Ningthoupham village many have expressed their strong condemnations of the unfortunate incident.
In a statement, the Office of the Naga People's Organization (NPO) stated that such anti-development activity perpetrated by any individual or organization is unacceptable, adding that it will not tolerate such heinous and diabolic plot to derail developmental work in the land" .
NPO also cautioned that CSOs of the district will react very sternly if similar incidents are repeated in the future.
As such, NPO urged the perpetrators to take responsibility for the incident and further appealed to the law enforcing agencies and competent authority to nab the culprits and award befitting punishment.

On the other hand, the village authority of M Ningthoupham village also condemned the torching of the excavator belonging to Keystone Company, who are engaged in constructing the proposed IIIT at M Ningthoupham.
Village chief BK John stated that such act of disturbance is highly condemnable by all the sensible society.
Echoing similar sentiments of condemnation, the Thangal Chief's Association, asserted that no individuals or group has the right to stop or create any fear towards any developmental projects.
The Thangal Union, too, denounced the heinous attack that showed a ruthless disregard for developmental projects and the rule of law.
Condemning the irresponsible attack on the educational developmental project, Thangal Union stated that it stands in solidarity with the contractors and expects the concerned authority to apprehend the perpetrators and award befitting action against them.
