Imphal, December 12 2014 :
All Manipur Anti-Drug Association (AMADA) has cautioned that they would launch different forms of agitation if the Government does not lift the restriction being enforced on the entry of visitors to Khuman Lampak Sports Complex (KLSC) within five days.
AMADA youth affairs and sports secretary Ph Nandajit said that the restriction was clamped by the Department concerned on their own whims without considering the inconveniences being faced by players and the general public.
Saying that KLSC is not a training ground for established players alone, Nandanjit said that many young and aspiring players and sports enthusiasts are also undergoing training inside the sports complex.
As such, AMADA in association with sports loving people of the State would launch different forms of agitation if this restriction is not lifted within five days.
On the other hand, AMADA general secretary Ph Phoni said that the association would conduct a blood donation camp at RIMS and JNIMS in connection with their foundation day celebration on December 20 as in the past years.
Urging the general public to make the camp a success, Ph Phoni also appealed to all concerned not to call any bandh or general strike on this day.
