All Manipur Recognised Private Schools Welfare Association has urged all concerned to make education a disturbance free zone.
Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club, association executive member Ng Dhanamanjuri also urged the member schools to strictly follow the academic calendar prepared by the association with the permission from the Director of Education (S) and Board of Secondary Education, Manipur.
She added that the association would conduct a competitive examination for the students set to appear in the Class X examination conducted by BOSEM.
Saying that top five students of every member school would take part in the competition which would be held in the second week of January, Dhanamanjuri said that the examination has been planned with an aim to produce more rank holders from these schools.
She also urged the authority concerned to extend the last date of form fill-up for Board examination.
