IGAR dedicates water storage tank

Imphal, June 04 2022:
Moreh Battalion of IGAR (S) inaugurated and handed over water storage tank at Zion Veng village in Tengnoupal district on Saturday as part of Operation Sadbhavana project.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the 20,000-litre capacity water storage tank was inaugurated by Maj Rakesh Kumar and handed over to the villagers in order to aid the locals for water storage.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by leaders of CSOs of Moreh and village chiefs of nearby villages.
Speaking on the occasion, village chief Lamthang Misao lauded the efforts of Assam Rifles in ensuring the quality construction of water storage tank in a time bound manner and urged the villagers for effective utilisation of the newly created tank.
