Dr Ranjan pays surprise visit to DIPR Hqs

Imphal, March 21 2023: Information and Public Relations Minister Dr S Ranjan Singh today made a surprise visit to DIPR Head Office, Nityaipat Chuthek, Keishampat.

The Minister was warmly received by Director (IPR) H Balkrisna Singh, Deputy Director (Press) T Ramesh Singh, Deputy Director (HQ) and DDO L Ashok Kumar Singh and other officers and staff of the directorate.

Dr S Ranjan inspected every section of the directorate and held discussion on various matters regarding the directorate with the officers and staff.

The officers and staff highlighted several issues being faced by them.

Assuring to address their grievances to the best possible level, the IPR Minister instructed the officers and staff to perform their duty sincerely and diligently.

He further advised the officers and staff to be punctual and reach office on time.

Reiterating that DIPR is an important Government Department which plays a pivotal role in connecting the Government with the public, Dr Ranjan asked the officers and staff of the directorate to continue working with full dedication.

He also assured to put in his best efforts for the development of the directorate.

The officers and staff also expressed their sincere gratitude to the Minister for his visit.
