COVID-19 relief items distributed

Khundrakpam Kendra Development Committee distributed relief items to families affected by COVID-19 today.
The relief items were distributed under the aegis of MLA Th Lokeshwar to 43 families from Pourabi and Chanung.
In another instance, Yaiskul Volunteer Organisation distributed relief materials to families in and around containment zones in Yaiskul AC today.
Volunteers of YVO also sprayed Hydrogen Peroxide and Silver Nitrate Solution at places under YVO to sanitize the area.
Mangshatabam Dinachandra (Loken), pradhan, Top Naoriya Panchayat in Kshetrigao AC extended financial assistance to task forces raised in areas inside the Panchayat to tackle the pandemic.
M Dinachandra has also been distributing relief materials to families in his area with active cooperation from respective ward members.
He distributed relief items to containment zones in Kongpal Kshetri Leikai, Top Khongnangmakhong, Kongpal Mamang Sabal Leikai, Kongpal Mutum Leikai and Kongpal Chanam Leikai.
He also assured that he will continue the distribution of relief materials to families in and around containment zones.
Khagokpam Khamba also distributed relief materials to 56 families in Sawombung Sairem Khul in Khurai AC after some individuals from the village was found to be COVID-19 positive.
Khagokpam Khamba had distributed relief materials to every household in Khurai AC in the first wave of the pandemic and the relief items distribution was carried out today as a part of the fifth phase of relief items distribution.
He also appealed the public to observe all SOP as mandated by relevant Government authority in order to stay safe from the virus and also added that we all should get vaccinated at the earliest.
AMESCO also distributed relief materials to tenants staying at Sagolband Meino Leirak today.
70 tenants including 20 students were benefited by the relief items distribution by AMESCO today.
AMESCO said in a statement issued today that curfew and restrictions had been imposed in the state to curb the spread of the virus.
Such restrictions has caused numerous problems for the people specially those staying in rents and the relief items including edibles were distributed to them to ease their problems.
