BJP ST Morcha Kpi distributes COVID-19 protective gears

Kangpokpi, May 30 2021: As a part of the celebration of the 7th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA Government, BJP ST Morcha Kangpokpi District reached out to various villages in the district and distributed COVID-19 protective gears.

The team was led by L Kamei, president ST Morcha Manipur Pradesh and composed of Ningthoudai Gonmei, general secretary (Organization) ST Morcha Manipur Pradesh; Tonglen Khongsai, state secretary ST Morcha Manipur Pradesh, in-charge of Kangpokpi District; Thanglensei Kipgen, president ST Morcha Kangpokpi District and Lamminsei Sitlhou, general secretary ST Morcha Kangpokpi District.

The team visited various villages in Kangpokpi, Saitu and Saikul block of Kangpokpi District and distributed face masks and hand sanitizers.

Speaking on the occasion, Thanglensei Kipgen said that the visit was initiated to take stock of the situation in various remote villages and to check their preparedness in the fight against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.

He extended his appreciation to the State ST Morcha leaders for their concern and commitment to help the people during the pandemic.
