BJP intensifies poll campaign in Nungba AC

Noney, February 16 2022: Stepping up BJP's poll campaign in Nungba AC, booth level flag hoisting ceremony cum special prayer meetings were held at Lamdangmei, Bitiang, Shangji and Thangal villages on Wednesday.

In one of the functions held for Dingan-glung alias Dipu Gangmei, the BJP candidate in Nungba (ST) AC, the attendees included BJP Tamenglong district president M Daniel; former vice-president Adim Pamei, former minister Jangamlung Panmei, Nungba Mandal president Makuphun Rongmei, ST Morcha state secretary Ningthoudai Gonmei, senior party leaders and village elders.

Speaking at the event, Dipu Gangmei explained that he joined electoral politics to bring changes which had not been witnessed since the 40 years of Congress rule, particularly in Nungba AC.

He further said that he would continue the good work done by sitting Congress MLA Gaikhangam if he is elected by the people.

Dipu also assured of working for the betterment of the youth, who are the pillars of tomorrow.

In his address, district president M Daniel maintained that despite many challenges and allegations from various angles, Dipu Gangmei managed to hold his ground with the help of public support.

He also thanked BJP Karyakartas and religious leaders for their constant support.

Meanwhile, BJP vice president Adim Pamei explained that D Gangmei was awarded the ticket in order to fulfil the party's goal.

Congress party must be uprooted from Nungba AC for a prosperous constituency under the double engine government of BJP in Manipur, he added.
