NESO extends solidarity to TSF

While extending its solidarity to Twipra Students' Federation (TSF), which observed black day in remembrance of brutal atrocities committed by security personnel on Saturday, North East Students' Organisation (NESO) has demanded punishment of the police personnel involved in the unwarranted firing upon the indigenous people of Tripura who were taking part in a democratic movement launched against CAB.
According to a statement released jointly by NESO chairman Samuel B Jyrwa and general secretary Sinam Prakash, the security personnel involved in the heinous incident are yet to be punished till now.
Moreover, the indigenous communities of Tripura are not only marginalised but have been oppressed and suppressed by the Tripura government headed by non-indigenous Tripuris, it added.
