AMSU urges for ceasing entertainment events

Imphal, April 15 2022:
Stating that it is fully prepared for the observance of 42nd Realisation Day on April 17, All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) has urged the people not to organise any form of entertainment programmes in public places on the said day.
In a release, AMSU also informed that the result of the state level essay competition held on April 1 on the topic 'Importance of Inner Line Permit System in Manipur, Migrants and their Impact' under the theme 'Respect Indigenous People's Rights, End New Colonialism' has been declared.
Thounaojam Precious Devi of ICM, Lamphelpat won first position, Manda Takhellambam of Manipur College second and Shaik-hom Sanju Meitei of Manipur University secured the third position, while Rita Yumnam of Manipur College, Md Tajuddin of DM College of Science, Moirangthem Sophia Devi of DM College of Arts, Epham Wakila of DM College of Arts, and Md Tajuddin of DM College of Science bagged the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eight position respectively.
The prizes will be distributed during the observance of 42nd Realisation Day at Manipur College multipurpose hall on April 17 at 11 am, the release informed.
