ADGP C Doungel scans medical college project

ADGP C Doungel, who is also the director of Manipur Police Housing Corporation (MPHC), on Thursday inspected the on-going work for construction of a medical college at the premises of District Hospital, here.
C Doungel was accompanied by engineers of MPHC and Keystone Infra Project Limited, Lamka during the inspection.
Speaking on the sidelines of the inspection, C Doungel noted that works are underway in full swing for completing the 100-seat capacity medical college.
With inclusion of the medical college project in the 100 days action plan of new BJP led government, it is hoped that the college will be inaugurated soon, he said.
With exception of the academic block, almost all the works related to ward extension, administrative block and hostel have been completed and target has been set to finish the project within before April 25, stated the ADGP.
Representatives of Keystone Infra Project Ltd informed that construction of the medical college is being looked after by MPHC.
The Medical College is being constructed at the district hospital campus for temporary use and the actual the college is to be set up near Mata village, where 25 acres of land have been earmarked, the official added.
