Imphal, January 20 2022:
Pourabi Yaipha Naharol Kanglup and Pourabi Rising Star Club have strongly condemned the restrictions imposed on activities of six BJP intending candidates in Khundrakpam A/C by one M Debabarta.
In a joint release, the two clubs contended that the restriction imposed on the BJP intending candidates from carrying out any activities in 74 villages of Khundrakpam A/C is unfortunate.
Such announcement should be taken after taking into account all aspects.
The joint release pointed out that the announcement of restriction on the six intending candidates has caused anger among the people of Khun drakpam.
There is no reason why M Debabarta should not be held accountable if any unwanted incidents occur over the matter, the joint release maintained, while adding that he should withdraw such undemocratic move so as to ensure free and fair election.
Making it clear that M Debabarta is not the authority of Pourabi village and other villages in Khundrakpam A/C, the joint release denounced the act of disturbing the activities in the villages by some people.
