Short Fiction Film Competition on July 25

Imphal, July 16 2022:
Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with FXB India Suraksha and Ujjawala Forum Manipur will organise a Short Fiction Film Competition on the theme of 'Human Trafficking in Manipur', informed a notice issued by Social Welfare Department director Ngangom Uttam.
As per the notice, interested individuals/groups can apply for the competition via the email [email protected].
The duly filled-in application forms along with a copy of the video should be submitted to the given email by 11.59 pm of July 25 .
Regarding the requirements, the length of the short fiction film should be within 8 to 10 minutes.
Any dialect is acceptable, provided an English subtitle is given.
The video format should be 4k or above (mobile filming is accepted) and it should not infringe other's copyright works.
For viewers Choice Award, the selected short fiction films would be uploaded on Youtube on July 22.The results and distributions of prizes will be organised on July 30 during the observance of 'World Day Against Trafficking in Person 2022' .
The top three Best Short Fiction Film awards will be presented a cash prize of Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively with a certificate each.
The Consolation Prize, Best Director, Best Editor, Best Cinematography and Viewers Choice Award will each carry a cash prize of Rs 5000 and certificate, the notice informed.
