Jiribam, January 09 2022:
Jiribam MLA Ashab Uddin has strongly condemned the petition filed in the Supreme Court of India by a West Bengal based organisation against implementation of the ILP system in Manipur.
Addressing a press conference at his Jiribam Sonapur residence on Sunday, MLA Ashab Uddin said that the West Bengal based political party 'Amar Bangali' has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to withdraw the ILP system being implemented in Manipur.
The existing ILP system in Manipur does not create any problem in the collective survival of the people and the system needs to remain in the interest of all communities in the state, he said and strongly condemned the challenge being made by Amar Bangali against ILP system.
While suggesting that Amar Bangali withdraw the petition, Ashab Uddin also said that he considers the act of Amar Bangali as an attempt to create disharmony among different communities living in Manipur.
