Imphal, September 10 2022:
A three-day political workshop organised by Communist Party of India (CPI), Manipur State Council concluded at Irawat Bhawan, here, on Saturday.
The workshop had thorough discussions on Marxism Leninism ideological theory, which is also the primary objective of Communist Party of India (CPI), with the stated objective to make the people of Manipur aware about the theories and help bring better change in the society.
The workshop was also attended by several theoreticians of the political party.
Speaking at the workshop, theoretician Thokchom Yaiskul contended that the present form of governance led by only the elitist class is a capitalist form of government according to Marxism.
Even if India is a democratic country it has no policy suitable for the poor, he said, while adding that, the communist party has been working to create a scientific socialism form of government in future.
Stating that oppression of the weak can be abolished only when socialism-based society is created, he expressed confidence that the ever-changing world will ultimately lead to establishment of a communist society.
