Imphal, May 27 2015 :
Disqualified Thangmeiband AC MLA Kh Joykishan has said that he will teach a lesson to the Congress Government by getting re-elected in the election instead of fighting the issue through legal means.
Speaking to reporters at his residence, Kh Joykishan said that he was deliberately disqualified before the Monsoon Session of the State Legislative Assembly.
However, he would not fight the judgment of the Speaker through legal means, he said.
Instead, he would fight the Government in the mid-term election, Joykishan said.
Expressing confidence that he would win the said election, Joykishan questioned why the three MLAs including himself were suddenly disqualified by sidelining the cases of five MSCP MLAs who have joined Congress.
If the three MLAs were liable to be punished, then why their cases were delayed or they were not disqualified earlier, he questioned.
Saying that people of Thangmeiband AC would decide his future political career, Joykishan said that he would however not join Congress or Trinamool Congress.
He said that as the party high command had not responded anything, Trinamool Congress could not field candidates in the ADC election.
