AMUCO presents Christmas gifts

All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) has extended its greetings to the Christian community of the state on the occasion of Christmas along with visiting various villages and presenting gifts.
In a release, AMUCO publicity secretary Laishram Krishnachandra stated that the organisation has been visiting various villages home to Christian community on the occasion of Christmas to strengthen the bond between the different communities.
On December 25, AMUCO members joined the Christmas programme at Khongbal Tangkhul village under Saikul block and presented gifts.
A team led by AMUCO president Pheiroijam Nando Luwang and secretary visited Satudai Baptist Church (RNBA), Khoupum, Noney district on Sunday and presented gifts and joined in the celebration, it added.
AMUCO president Ph Nando wished that the festival ushers in peace and harmony amongst the people of the state and do away with distrust, jealousy, ill-will and bad conduct towards each other.
Let's work together to remove the distrust amongst each other that has arisen due to past activities that are against the teaching of Jesus Christ.
Let's do away with the burden of artificial animosity that have been created by us against each other, he further appealed.
AMUCO also announced that they will tour and present gifts to people of Torbung Munyai Kuki village; Chothe village, Bishnupur; Laikat Kom village, Yaingangpokpi, Kangpokpi district and other villages on Monday and December 28 .
