BJP set to intensify election campaign

With the state assembly election approaching fast, the ruling BJP has made preparations for continuous election campaign involving national leaders and party's national president JP Nadda is likely to visit the state again on December 30 after his brief visit to the state on December 24 .
A prominent leader of BJP Manipur Pradesh informed The People's Chronicle that the party is preparing for different types of campaign to ensure victory of its candidates in the upcoming election and these campaigns will be held in various constituencies of the state with participation of national leaders and Union ministers.
Before announcement of ticket, several national leaders will take part in election campaign to be held at various parts of the state and welfare schemes launched by the centre and state governments will be made known to people during these campaigns.
BJP national president JP Nadda had visited the state on December 24 and he is preparing to revisit on December 30 to discuss election strategies and take part in public meetings.
JP Nadda will discuss with state leaders various issues prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's arrival in first week of January.
He will also discuss with state leaders about likely schemes and projects to be inaugurated by the PM, the prominent BJP leader informed.
Prior to JP Nadda's visit, Union minister Pratima Bhoumik will be arriving in Imphal on Monday and she will take part in campaigns at various places of the state.
BJP national general secretary BL Santosh also set to reach here on December's, the state leader informed further.
According to state BJP leader, declaration of party ticket might be made in three phases and the first phase will figure names of ministers and MLAs.
