Ravi JAC sticks to CBI probe demand

Joint Action Committee (JAC) against the brutal killing of Pangambam Ravi of Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai at Chandigarh has demanded CBI probe into the death of the Manipuri student so as to punish the culprits within 5 days.
In a statement, Convenor of the JAC warned Chandigarh and Manipur governments that the JAC is ready to take up intense agitations if the demands were not fulfilled.
The JAC has also appealed to the people for cooperation and support to the cause of justice.
It may be noted that here that the dead body of Ravi, a BA 2nd year student of Govt College for Men was found in a jungle in a decomposed state on August 29, after he was reported missing from his rented house at Khuda Lohora area in Chandigarh on August 25 last.
Consequently, the decomposed body of Ravi has been cremated after postmortem at Chandigarh.
