Abducted labourers still traceless, protest staged

Imphal, September 01 2012:
Two labourers, who have been allegedly kidnapped by armed cadres suspected to belong to KCP (MC) Lamyanba Group over a ransom demand of Rs 20 lakh on August 20, still remain traceless.
The two abducted labourers identified as Laishram Somorjit (21) son of L Doren of Laingam Khul and Elangbam Gandhi (28) son of late E Tomba of Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai but staying at Lamdeng Khunou, were engaged in construction of Maklang Junior High School, Imphal West district.

Meanwhile, locals of Laingam Khul today staged a sit-in-protest demanding release of the abducted labourers.
