South East Asia Cultural Organisation (SEACO) has announced financial assistant to those who would be organizing worship of goddess Panthoibi and adopt Meetei religion.
In a statement, Secretary General of SEACO Loya Maisnam said that since August 28, 1709, during the reign of King Pamheiba, there has been a sudden change in the earlier form of belief and faith of Meetei community.
As a result, social custom and identity of Meetei community is degrading day by day.
