Two injured in road mishap

Kakching, October 04 2012:
Two Muslim women from Yairipok sustained injuries in a road accident which took place at Yairipok Kekru Laimang Leikai area today.
The incident occurred at around 10.20 am when a passenger Tata Iris vehicle first hit a parked Honda City ZX bearing registration number UK-07V-3359 and then rammed into a pile of timbers on the opposite side of the road.
The two injured women are identified as Bariya (40) daughter of Md Basir and Basiran (35) wife of Md Abdul Rahaman, both are residents of Yairipok Tulihal Awang Leikai.
They were rushed to Yairipok CHC for necessary medical attention.
The Tata Iris involved in the mishap is owned by one Miss Tahira Shahani of Yairipok Tulihal Awang Leikai and it is yet to get its registration number as it was bought just five days back.
The vehicle was coming towards Yairipok Malom with seven persons from Yairipok Tulihal for working in a quarry at Malom.
It hit the parked car while trying to avert collision with a Bajaj Pulsar coming from the opposite direction.
