4 children rescued

One Tamilian who reside at Santi Nagar, Moreh Ward no 7 has rescued 4 children of the same locality from the hands of suspected drugs users who attempted to traffic the children to the Myanmar from Nampalong Bazar today.
Speaking to media persons, the Tamilian whose name is R Siva said that the he was able to recognise the children at instance as they frequently visited his house.
When asked with whom they came to the place, the children replied in Myanmar dialect "Ako" which means Tada, Siva said, adding that he took the children toward the gate as he got suspicious and handed over to their mothers when he noticed them searching for their wards.
The four children were identified as Ningthoukhongjam Taniya Devi (5), d/o N Nanao Singh; Ningthoukhongjam Lingjel Sana (4) d/o N Prem Singh; Ningthoukhongjam Khusi Devi (2) d/o N Nanao; Soibam Bidiya Devi (4) d/o S Abung Singh.
