State female entrepreneurs feted

Guwahati based organization Anuprerona feted State's female entrepreneurs Kshetrimayum Vedmani Devi and Michelle Salam as Best North-East Women Entrepreneur 2019 on the occasion of International Women's Day 2019 observation held at Assam's capital on Friday last.
Citing "decade long dedicated service to the cause of society and active participation in project for empowerment of society", Kshetrimayum Vedmani Devi and Michelle Salam were chosen from amongst active women entrepreneurs across the North-East region.
Vedmani is the promoter of Imphal based Vedam Agro Enterprises which specializes in food processing while Michelle is the promoter of Sweet Temptations which specializes in bakery products including stylized cakes.
Speaking on the occasion, Anuprerona general secretary, Deepjyoti Saikia said the organization was honouring the two entrepreneurs from Manipur for their dedicated service to the promotion of entrepreneurship by women and for bringing out new ideas in production and marketing of their products.
Expressing delight in receiving the honour, Kshetrimayum Vedmani, also the vice-president of Manipur Chapter of North-East Women's Entrepreneurs Association (NEWEA), said it was truly an honour to be regarded as best amongst the several women entrepreneurs working in the region.
Michelle Salam also expressed happiness to be regarded among the best entrepreneurs in the region.
