Ayush medicines and Covid relief items distributed

Imphal, July 30 2021:
Committee on COVID-19 Manipur in continuation of its mass awareness campaigns on COVID-19 distributed Ayush 64 tablets, face masks and hand sanitizers to Community Home Isolation Centres (CHICs), local Covid Task Forces, local clubs/meira paibis at different areas of Kakching and Imphal West districts today.
The distribution programme was conducted in association with Directorate of Ayush, said a press release by the Committee.
Also Director of Directorate of Ayush, Dr A Guneshwor Sharma handed over 2700 (two thousand and seven hundred) packets of Ayush 64 tablets to members of Committee on COVID-19 Manipur at his office chamber today.
Th said tablets will be distributed to CHICs, local Covid task forces, local clubs/meira paibis in other districts of the State.
It may be mentioned that the Committee formed by prominent CSOs of the State namely CADA, UPF, NIPCO, AMSU, UPACO and MAPI Council have been striving earnestly to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic in the State effectively.
Meanwhile, Imphal East United Clubs Organisation (IEUCO) under the aegis of All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO) handed over Ayush medicines to 6 local clubs of Imphal East and Saikul Sub Division in Kangpokpi district today to be distributed to the locals within their respective areas.
A press release by IEUCO informed that the medicines viz Aconite-30 and Arsenium Alb-30 were provided by Directorate of Ayush and were handed to Purum Pangaltabi Club (PPC), Purum Nepali Club (PNC), Purum Khullen Club (PKC), Happy Valley Club (HVC), Purum Thianyawl Club (PTC) and Purum Phailian Club (PPC).
President of IEUCO, Takhellam Dijo Mangang, general secretary, Tensubam Kalachand and president of United Ching Tam Clubs Association (UCCAN), Huyam Khoikhoi and general secretary L Joseph Kom were also present on the occasion.
The team also sensitized the people regarding the benefits of the medicines and informed that the Ayush medicines are immune boosters and it will help in lessening the adverse affects of COVID-19.IEUCO have distributed Ayush medicines for around 1000 people till date under the aegis of AMUCO and sought the support of the public towards the cause and the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
In another instance, Imphal West District United Clubs Organisation (IWDUCO) in association with Northern United Clubs Organisation (NUCO) donated 3 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sets, face shields etc to CHIC opened at Khonghampat High School today.
IWDUCO in a press release assured of providing best possible help in fighting against COVID-19 and lauded the selfless contributions of Covid warriors.
Further it appealed all to strictly maintain Covid SOPs and guidelines to stay safe from the dreaded COVID-19.Also Covid warriors of Youths Foundation for Fitness and Service (YOFFS) Manipur and AMUCO distributed Ayush medicines for around 1,100 (one thousand and one hundred) at various locations across the State continuing its drive of distribution of Ayush medicines.
