6 UG including KCP (N), KCP (LK), NNC, KPLF cadres held

Imphal, November 09 2015:
Security forces arrested six UG cadres in different counter insurgency operation held in the State on November 6 and November 7 last.
In a statement, PRO Police Department RK Tutusana said that team of District Police Commando, Imphal West arrested one "over ground cadre of KCP (N) on November 6 identified as one Lourembam Robinson Singh (35), son of late L Babudhon Singh of Singjamei Chinga Mathak Yumnam Leikai from his residence.
Investigation revealed that, he was earlier arrested in the year 2010 for being a cadre of PLA organisation and again re-arrested in the year 2014 as over ground worker of UNLF organisation.
A case has been registered at Singjamei Police Station and investigation is going on.
On the other hand, team of District Police Commando, Imphal West conducted frisking in front of the Tampha Hotel, North AOC, Imphal and nabbed one active member of KCP (Lamyanba Khuman) organisation identified as Khundrakpam Tomba Singh (46), son of late Kh Maipak Singh of Nambol Thiyam Makha Leikai on November 7 .
Investigation revealed that he had served demand letters and threatened the general public to extort money for the said organisation.
A case has been registered at Imphal Police Station and investigation is going on.
A combined team of District Police Commando, Imphal West and 12 Bihar Regiment conducted cordon and search operation at Konthoujam Mamang Leikai and held one "Lieutenant" of Naga National Council (NNC) identified as Poujianlung Kamei (25), son of late Meithangam Kamei of Marangjing village in Tamenglong district on November 7 .
Investigation revealed that, he had collected a huge amount of money on National Highways - 02 and 37 and came to Imphal to recruit new cadres of their organisation.
A case has been registered at Patsoi Police Station and investigation is going on.
Meanwhile, a team of District Police Commando, Imphal West conducted cordon and search operation at Langol Housing Complex and nabbed active member of KPLF/KPLA organisation identified as Sanlut Letkhohao Haokip (34), son of Sanlut Ajang Haokip of Chassad Avenue, New Checkon, Imphal East district on November 7 .
Investigation revealed that, he had served demand letters to general public, recruited
new cadres in the organisation and also transported lEDs from Moreh to Imphal for the said organisation.
On his disclosure, one Luminthang Lhungdim (25), son of late Jamsei Lhungdim of Langol Housing complex Qtr No.D-28, Type-Ill who was helping KPLF/KPLA organisation in printing the party letter head, demand letters, publicity heading etc.
was arrested.
Further, on disclosure of Sanlut Letkhohao Haokip, another cadre of the organisation identified as Lunkhungam Haokip (36), son of Hemkhulun Haokip of Buljang village in Churchandpur was arrested from New Checkon, Imphal East.
A case had been registered at Lamphel Police Station and investigation is going on.
